The East Kilbride Community Trust is excited to announce that three of their keen volunteers Danielle Lappin, Olivia McAdams and Jaynie Kean have decided to fundraise by organising a night of live music for everyone to enjoy.
Danielle organised a similar successful event last year and is showing Olivia and Jaynie the ropes by helping them this time around.
Together, D.O.J, are hosting a night of live music at the G2 Hall of the Garage in order to raise much needed funds to buy equipment to help children with special needs.
Danielle said: “I am always happy to help out in any way I can with the charity and their fundraising efforts. I have been a volunteer for a number of years and have been lucky enough to see what a difference the charity makes in the local community.
“Last year I organized a gig to help out with the Max to Miami campaign. The gig was great, everyone had fun and we raised a good amount while spreading the word about the charity and what they do.
“Myself, Olivia and Jaynie wanted to help fundraise again and decided to organise a similar event this year which we are hoping will be just as successful.”
The event will take place on Friday 28th August in the G2 Hall of the Garage, Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, starting at 19.00pm.
There are four fantastic acts confirmed to play on the night. They are Magic Trik, Courage James, Happy Friction and The Cairds.
Tickets for the event are £6 and can be purchased from EKCT (via there Facebook page, by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by contacting them on their landline on 01355 576005) or from Olivia McAdams, Jaynie Kean or Danielle Lappin (all via their Facebook accounts) or at the door on the night if still available.
If like the girls, you are interested in helping out the charity and using your skills to help us fundraise please do get in touch, via the website (www.ekct.co.uk) or the charities Facebook page (East-Kilbride Community-Trust) or on the EKCT landline (01355 576005) , and we will do our best to help you in any way we can.
