The Dogs Trust Scotland Campaign Team are coming to K-Woodlands to offer FREE health checks, FREE nail clipping and advice on dog ownership as part of their Responsible Dog Ownership Roadshow!
The veterinary nurse will carry out a basic health check, which includes eye, ear, teeth and weight checks, to make sure your dog is happy, fit and healthy! The team will also be offering FREE on the spot microchipping for any dogs that are not yet microchipped (microchipping has been a legal requirement since April 2016). They will also be able to advise on changing your microchip details should this be required.
K-woodlands staff will be available to introduce you and your furry friend to the woodlands. Our volunteers will be taking orders for paracord dog collars (or teaching you how to make your own!) and we will also have our very own bushcraft style doggy agility course – where your canine companion could win a tasty treat. Teas and coffees will be available throughout the day for us humans and, of course, there will be plenty of water for the dogs.
Due to ongoing forestry work, we will be using the Redwood Place entrance to the woods (nearest postcode G74 5PB). No booking necessary! If you require any further information please contact Stephen on 07714 744788 or at email@example.com
A message from Dogs Trust: NO appointment is required. We operate on a drop in basis so please come along with your dog and say hi! Please ensure you keep your dog on a lead during our Roadshows. All breeds are welcome, whether your dog is a puppy or an adult. We would ask that all puppies under 6 months are fully vaccinated and proof of vaccinations are brought to the event. If your puppy has recently been vaccinated, they must be carried for the 10 days following their final vaccination. Dogs over 6 months of age do not require proof of vaccination. Dogs Trust cannot chip active hunting hounds or litters of puppies.
