PLEASE NOTE: Due to intensive woodland management and path upgrade works we will be meeting at the REDWOOD PLACE entrance to the woods.
Join us on the last Friday of each month for some volunteering, where we’ll be doing anything from litter picking to tree planting. This week, you’ll be helping us prepare for our family Halloween event.
Volunteering is a great way to get active and meet new people, while benefiting the environment (and your CV). We’ll provide the tools and equipment, all you need to bring is some sturdy footwear and suitable outdoor clothing. Refreshments will also be provided.
Some likely activities include path maintenance, vegetation clearance, drainage improvements, meadow management, processing firewood, building benches and creating ponds and other wildlife habitats.
Due to the nature of the activities these sessions are intended for teens and adults, however, younger children can join in as long as they are supervised by a responsible grown-up.
No booking required, just show up. For more information contact Stephen on 07714 744788 or e-mail Stephen@ekct.co.uk
